Transition to Costa Rica

While I already consider myself a professional world traveler having lived abroad in many locations, I can still say that each new location has its own set of intricacies, challenges, and nuances.  There is a huge learning curve for each new relocation destination.

Costa Rica is no different.  

However, I chose Costa Rica as my new permanent location for the numerous good qualities it has, and I have no regrets.  Besides all the great qualities I mentioned in the Why Costa Rica page, some of the most important advantages Costa Rica offers are the security to purchase and own land, safe and secure as a foreigner.  Also, having a birth abroad here gives your new child citizenship and your whole family permanent residency.
